I had been longing for spring

This morning, from the treadmill, I watched a high-legged rabbit leap across the snow.

The sky behind was lit with pink ice.

I decided it was silly to light a fire for Spring, as if Beauty will be born Tomorrow.

Definite longing there.
I can feel your longing in my heart from all these miles away.

I can feel your winter blues colliding with your desire to live in the moment.

You will not miss it Ruth, it will come, it has to. Spring does not forget you. There is a charm in waiting. The beauty is always there. We have the sun all the time, we wait for cooler days. Now the comfort of cooler days is getting shortened. Its opposite for you i think. The comfort of warmer days is getting shortened every year. Enjoy the spring when it comes Ruth. The days to enjoy are getting shortened. i think this is what i wanted to say here.

there is no such thing as colour blind language
true blue
my place?
sunny sunny

2 chairs facing tomorrow
i'd like to crawl into that notebook feet an' all
yesterday is baggage
tomorrow is potential baggage
shall i make some tea?

I feel you're my Australian sister, Letitia. My heart does not feel as heavy with it now that you feel it too.

Well put, Don. That's what synchronizing is about, and I need reminding often.

rauf, I am afraid you might be right about the mild, enjoyable days being shortened, north and south.

Strangely enough, there is some pleasure in longing. But there is peace in accepting.

Drowsey, way up there you are even more sunk in winter than we are. We feel it together, my adopted daughter. :)

Alek, please do, some nice black harvested in the hills of China or Turkey.

Your words read like my notebook.

Are you saying you had showers, literally, cleaning the Greek mountain where you live?

I love the way you have used the photos in the post......and the note book, oh, I wish I could flip though it to read every word and dream.....

When you love words, as you and I do, Britt-Arnhild, living in each other's pages would be a joy.

Wow. You have a poetic way of expression that will bring me back to read more!

How nice, Meredith. Thank you. I loved visiting your blog too, such a beautiful family you have. And you are very creative.
