I guess I never went upsatiars, Ruth, because I don't remember that room, let alone the chairs. Hmmm. Guess I need to go back :)
Ginnie, I don't think I went upstairs my first few visits either -- didn't know it was allowed. But when there was a reason -- the reading -- then there was freedom. The wind and sun coming in the window from the Seine into that room was like a dream.
