Wet laundry

-
-

Grab a cuppa coffee,
or you can make it tea,
come on for a visit,
and you can bring laundry.
Marcie, Kath and Margie,
and my sister Ginnie too,
invited me to their blog
to try out someplace new,
where women of a certain age
put words and pictures on the page.
The place they have is Vision and Verb,
and I for one think it's superb!

Here's Wet Laundry at Vision and Verb.
(It's not a poem.
And gack, the one above is ridiculous,
but I am a happy slave to
National Poetry Month.)

I cannot believe you guys. Poetry is alright, but it's not really my passion. And now I'm balling again, fucking sobbing. It is beautiful, thank you. I have some things I have to take care of. I will see you soon

OMG Ruth you just reminded me the old days when my mom used to do laundry, clothes were hanging everywhere, it was days of work because all by hand. Thanks for sharing, love going back to nice memories. Anna :)

Hello there and welcome, Dusty. I laughed when I got your first comment. Then I thought maybe you were crying over the "If" post, yes? Thank you for sharing my tears. Well, we have a good time over here, and thanks for adding to it.

Thank you, dear Susie. I was grateful this one was written two weeks earlier after the work week I had. I don't have any defined guest status at V&V, but I see that you joined them at FB, so you can enjoy the good writing and photos there on a regular basis.

Toni, I enjoyed it, thank you very much for allowing me to visit your sweet space.

Your photography is just splendid. I didn't see a way to leave a comment at your blog, which I wanted to do.

Oh, dear! Just what I need -- to fall into a new spot! But of course I must go visit!

Pat, climbing into bed between sheets dried on the line is one of the great pleasures of life.

Thank you, Margie.
