Happy First Year DROWSEY MONKEY!

Dear Drowsey Monkey,

Congratulations on your first full year of blogging today!

In these honeysuckle flowers I hope you'll see yourself. In them I see a wild shrub that becomes as tall as a tree. (Are you tall?) And it smells very good. (You do smell good, don't you?) I see shapes unique among flowers. (Um, I mean . . .) I see a lightness that stands out from the rest. In this pitcher arrangement I see homeyness, a link to the past. I see each blossom as one of your outrageous stories.

Keep telling your stories. We need to smile more. And fall on the floor laughing.

Here's to another year!

love,
Ruth (aka your adopted mother)

Duh..I just saw the link. That is so funny.

Last year I did the same thing with two gnomes in my yard. Actually took them on vacation with me up to the Bay area because they were being so ornery in the yard when I would leave them alone...hahaha....

Awww...once again you've touched my heart! You know I love your blogs and now your hubbies! And I live vicariously thru them :) I'll be doing my post on Honey next week, I love her! LOL (yes, I know she's a chicken).

Thank you for this post, made me cry & smile. I love the colours, red was my mother's fav. And yes I am tall, 5'3" to be honest I've never thought of myself as short...I'm sure there's a post in there somewhere ;)

THANK YOU! :)

Thank you everyone for joining me in congratulating Drowsey. I hope you got to read at least one of her stories.

rauf, glad you got Firefox to work. Now IE works fine.

Drowsey, that was fun, and it was nice to see the multi-blog tribute to you and yours. We look forward to seeing Honey on your blog, yay!
