It took four men and four shovels to dig out one sidewalk in downtown Dansville.

First Congregational Church in Grand Ledge closed services for the first time in decades. Here in Nashville, it's brisk but dry.

Wow, Loring. Did you grow up in that church? Is that the one out on M43? That's where Frank Fitzgerald's service was.

How's your mom doing? I hope everything went well.

Weswey, I'm surprised you didn't get some of the dump Boston got. I'd love to see a pic of the balcony lights! I love you!

All that snow is making me sooooo homesick. You have no idea, Ruth!

Four Men and a Shovel sounds like a good movie! (4 men and 4 shovels does not!)

Yep, grew up in the church, used to be on the north side of the bridge, and moved to M43 when I was in high school. Fitzgeralds always went to that church.

Mom's surgery was six hours, two microvalve repairs and a hole in the heart, but things look good.

How about "It takes a shovel..." for a movie title?

Well, Boots, now you're coming, but there might not be any snow left when you get here, so sad. It will be getting into the 40s. :(

Loring, that's a long surgery. Did they tag team? I'm glad to hear it went well, and I wish her a very healthy recovery.

Ink, that phrase came to my mind too. :)

Kalyan, it was heavy snow, but I thought it was funny that the short sidewalk needed 4 workers.

Thanks.
