Christmas snow?

I wish the snow would last until Christmas. Don't think it will though, it's supposed to warm up today and tomorrow.

Ruth--

just what I thought today! It really is a pity that all this beautiful snow is melting right before Christmas. I think we have a small chance of getting another dusting in time for Christmas Eve. Not that it matters. It's all in our hearts, anyway.

Happy Winter Solstice to you!

Ohhhh, I hope we'll see snow there this year, Ruth. But at least I know you've had it and took these wonderful photos!

Just think! We'll be with you SOON!!!

Yes, rauf, it's been quite a while. Your new post is so lovely, and it was a welcome sight after so long.

I wish you could see the snow, but it's gone now anyway, and I don't know if we'll get more this week.

Merry, merry Christmas, rauf.

Ink, ah, it's a beautiful time of year, one you and I appreciate for so many reasons. It's satisfying to let our bodies, minds and hearts follow the seasons.

Boots, I hope the snow will come especially for your visit AFTER you land Thursday. Well at least maybe the lake will be frozen and we can skate?

Thank you so much for this post! I was just telling Swede about the pine tree outside my bedroom window growing up. I loved it when I woke up in the morning to find it looking just like this. I have often thought of painting it.

Merry Merry Christmas and enjoy your gift of family time together.

Swedehart, I love pines too. I'm glad I posted them for you. Feel free to save these photos for your own use, to paint from or whatever.
