Great Christmas stockings! Did Lesley make them?

Heh, nope, Heather. We bought those in Turkey where they were hand knitted. I embroidered their names. :)

Who needs words with pictures like these?

Aw, thanks, Swedeheart. I hope you, Swede and the kids are having fun!

oh i see the joy in the pictures Ruth. You had a wonderful Christmas.
Lots of cakes here from friends and neighbours, couldn't go for a Christmas dinner, just felt lazy after eating too many cakes and goodies.
Happy New year to you Don Lesley and Peter. Enjoy the holidays!

We are driving back to Arizona today, light snow, but hopefully it will stay tame. We are heading into knarly country (Southern Utah). No way to go home but through it... mountains, deer, bunnies and hopefully no ice. Pray for our safe journey!

Aren't these beautiful handmade birds coming from NYC just for you? ;-)

Thank you so much, rauf. Yes, it's been a wonderful week.

I hope you, Rokhia and Raffath, and Ruby and Moin, and all your many friends, are enjoying all the festivities and visits, but please don't get a stomach ache with all those plum puddings.

Oh, Swedehart, I do pray you're all safe after that drive! It sounds beautiful, but it can be treacherous!

Are Zabrina and Wyatt having fun?

Ruth said...

Alice, YES, but how do YOU know that??? Have you seen Lesley's blog?

Merry Christmas in France, dear Alice.

Ruth said...

Kerri, I love Scrabble too, but we don't play it often enough, mostly at holidays. How old is your son?

Ruth said...

Hello, dear Astrid, thank you. A few of these shots were taken at Don's sister's house, and that tree shot is is one of them. She has a lovely home, where we spent a couple of days last weekend.

Our own tree went outside to the deck because our son had a violent allergic reaction to it, or so we think. Next year artificial!

Oh...I haven't played scrabble in years! I used to love that game...rarely won, but I still loved it.

This is so wonderfully festive, Ruth. When I first saw it at your house, my eyes opened wide with childlike awe. I especially like how you used different sizes for the images!

Drowsey, Don annihilated me by over 120 points. :|

Thanks, Boots! Now we start a new year, and I'm so happy we ended the last one with you and Donica.
