I don't wanna miss a thing

I'm going to be away for a brief little while, moving our daughter, her husband and our gestating grandbabe from NYC to Michigan. My gleeps know no bounds.

Don't do anything while I'm away. I don't wanna miss a thing.

  1. Good luck, Ruth! I look forward to your return. Above all, stay cool as you attempt a move in this oppressive heat madness.

  4. Have safe travels. I hope you can stay cool. We're in an unforgiving Northeastern heat wave (102+) through at least next Tuesday.

Will look forward to your return.

How lovely to have your family living closer to you.

  10. Safe trip to you, Ruth. Thanks for the fine send-off, and have fun. As for doing anything--it's way too hot for that. ;_)

  11. Wishing an easy, safe move for all. Be careful in this heat; everyone in the surrounding area has been urged to stay indoors this week, and the air quality is lousy.
But what joy to be bringing them "home"!

  16. Whatever you do, don't overdo it.
Remember the bit about moderation in all thing being good for you?

If it's hot that applies doubly

    Happy unbounded gleeps.

  24. I THINK I know where you are! And I hope you have a wonderful time.

I, too, have been MIA and I'm enjoying reading the poems I missed, especially the ones about hot summer. I'd much rather be reading those than living it -- and I suspect come February next I'll be scrolling back through your blog looking for these, just to remind me summer exists!

I'll be preposting so stop by when you have a chance, and will try to access the net while I am away to look in on you. Have a grand time!
